Will you be my...Valentine?

Valentine's day is just around the corner. To some, this is a big deal, and to others, it is just another day. Some people believe it is just a holiday engineered to sell cards and chocolates. Some people believe it is the perfect opportunity to celebrate love. Personally, I think every day should be like Valentine's day. Why not tell your friends and family that you love them as much as possible?Or even better, yet, tell yourself how much you love and appreciate YOU! The world could always use a little more feel good "juju" to go around.

So, regardless of your view on Valentine's day...let's just celebrate for the sake of celebrating. Even if you do not have a particular person to be your "Valentine", why not  celebrate by purchasing that necklace or purse you have been eyeing for months? Or, if you do have a special someone, celebrate by finding them something that declares your love! 2013 Resolutions?

As the first month of 2013 comes to a close, New Year's resolutions come to mind. A New Year's resolution is a commitment that a person makes to one or more personal goals, projects, or the reforming of a habit. A key element to any New Year's resolution is that it is made in anticipation of the New Year and new beginnings. The goal typically includes making this new year even better than the last.

Headbands!

We have tons of headbands in Fuego.  We have full rounders of wide varieties of colors and styles.  Headbands can be worn to dress up an outfit, to push back bangs, with a messy bun, with a ponytail, with braids, and with many more hair styles.

Not only can headbands be worn the traditional way (on the top of your head), they can be worn (if they are cloth and elastic) around your forehead.  That may not be typical for most people, but the hippie styles are making a comeback!  and many people are trying to embrace that (which is awesome!)!

Rumor has it that the Nicole Richie is constantly wearing headbands!  She has jumped on the band-wagon of headbands...and so should you!!!!

Books

I truly and honestly believe that everyone should read a book, part of a book, or just an exert from a book everyday.  People seem to always get their form of entertainment elsewhere.  What happened to the good ol days of being able to use your imagination when reading a book to make up what the characters look like in their mind, create the places that are being read about in their mind, or even how one believes the names should be pronounced.  Now a days people are always just waiting for the books to be turned into movies.  What about the books that will never be turned into movies?  Are they just to be forgotten?  I hope not.

Try and expand your mind and creativity by reading a book and seeing what happens.  You might be surprised how awesome it feels/is to read a book.  Find an author you enjoy and go crazy!  It truly is fun!

Flare

Seems like in today's world that people do not interact or have conversations face to face.  That is a shame.  We, as citizens of the world, should try and change and make an effort to talk to people face to face more instead of texting or posting on facebook. 

One way people can try and have more interaction is to have flare on their outfit.  Here at Fuego we have tons of neat buttons to have on your backpacks, jean jackets, or purses. These neat buttons of ours have writing on them, pictures, animals, and much more.  Maybe once all of your favorite buttons are in place people will stop and read them, hence making it a grand opportunity to start up conversation.  There could be a button with a picture of your dog on it.  Great conversation starter!  An example of one of our buttons is: "Being nice to people is a really good idea". Looks cool and has a great message!  Two in one!

Also, not only do we have buttons to start conversations, we have magnets!  I am not sure if lockers are still in school, but if they are, decorate them with awesome magnets!  We have all sorts of magnets.  Some have sayings on them, pictures, symbols, astrology signs, and more!  Could be a great way to make friends with your locker buddies and people around your locker area.

Just something to think about!

Hunger Games

I don't know about you but I was very intrigued by the make up worn in the movie The Hunger Games.  It is not something you see every day, only if you live at the Capital in the books (haha).  The make up is very bright and shiny.  Here at Fuego we have tons of bright colors of eyeshadow.  We even have neon color shadow pencils that can be used for the lining of the eyes.  If you would want to wear this style everyday more power to ya!  But it might also be a great idea for Halloween.

Summer Scarves

My favorite time of the year is definitely summer! I love it when everyone can shed their layers of clothes, so that we can see their trendy and unique outfits! A cool and casual accessory that can be used year round would be scarves!
